'Heart Of Glass' (see what they've done) has been floating around for almost a year on white and sounds as wonderfully spiky and noisy now it's finally got a full release, all raw electro beats, bendy bass and smashing glass sounds. The Bjork-gone-electro 'Crushproof' and 'Symbionic' on the flip prove these two have a darker side and are more than one-trick ponies.
Electro pop with a razor edge.

UPDATE, DMC DANCE MUSIC REVIEW, JANUARY 21 2004 -
4 DANCING MEN/FLOOR FILLER

Brighton based Rochelle sings and Adamo tweaks the machines. Together they are Product.01 and this, their first EP, combines elements of Goth and Techno onto fat Electro breakbeats. Full of loud bleeps and crazy white noise, the A side is an Industrial take on Blondie's classic Disco hit 'Heart Of Glass' and will probably be used soon in fashion shows' soundtracks. On the flip side there are two of their own tracks which dwell further into aural S&M.

iDJ, JANUARY 2004 - 4 STARS
Adamo and Rochelle's superior 'Heart Ov Glass' Blondie cover is better than the majority of electro cover versions. It's a riot of bleeps, smashing glass and bass spurts, but 'Crushproof' and 'Symbionic' on the B show a darker, more disturbing sensibility.

JUICE, FEBRUARY 2004 - KNOW FUTURE NEW TALENT FEATURE
Seriously super fucking cool.

INTHEMIX.COM
Their sound is a mixture of electro and tech, add Vincente's trippy vocals to the mix and you've got a unique sound that has already been making waves in the world's electro community.

ATOME.COM

Warning, electro bomb inside!! After having done some remixes of tracks by International Pony, Freeland or also Dave Clarke + Chicks on Speed, the Brighton-based duo is now releasing its very first EP on its own label and something tells me that we should hear from them for a long time... Product.01 are Rochelle Vincente aka the Ice Maiden on vocals and Adamo behind the machines. Their style is electro and their sound is simply massive: heavy synth-basses, many lo-fi / computer sounds and effects, particularly on Rochelle's voice.
Here we find on the A, an excellent remix of "Heart Ov Glass" by Blondie that should boost this release. But in addition to this future hit, there's also two great tracks on side B: "Crushproof" and above all the mega blasting title "Symbionic". Perfect to rock the dancefloors, so highly recommended!
Check audio samples on Product.01 website & get it!!

SMALLFISH RECORDS
Much cheekiness here with this vocal electro group delivering the first release
on their own label (by the looks of it). The main track is a warped out version
of Blondie's 'Heart Ov Glass' which is actually very, very good. Surprising really as I'm not keen on covers usually but I actually found myself singing along. The flip has two other twisted out electro tracks, also with vocals. Bit of a
goodie really.

DEXTRO.CO.UK
After witnessing a truly awesome set from Product 01 at one of the Beefee nights in Brixton I was lucky enough to get a hold of a copy of their new 'Zero One' EP.
The EP includes Product's original take on 'Heart Ov Glass' as well as two of Product's beat driven blinders, 'Crushproof' and my personal favourite 'Symbionic'.
'Heart Ov Glass' incorporates everything that is unique about Product 01. Fat bass bombs exploding with shrapnel in the form of melodic synth programming. The vocal is haunting! It delivers a completely original, almost dark feel, giving the track true punk energy.
'Crushproof' is a beat driven, groove nasty onslaught with cracking bass programming providing top drawer electro satisfaction. The programming is quirky and clever, adding to the superb bass work. This track has a sweet soulful vocal which reminds me of what its like to surf in space!
'Symbionic'. Now this is my favourite. . . . The bass lines on this are fuckin A!, cracking beats and the vocal is utterly encapturing. For me, this is the track that I tell people about, however the three tracks are all completely original, melodic and truly refreshing.
Some of the best dance music I've heard.

RA, RESIDENTADVISOR.NET - 7 /10
The support list for this 12" is huge.
It's safe to say that Heart Ov Glass would be a track that retro enthusiasts would take an easy liking to and probably one electro track to hear at fashion shows.
Side A. Heart Ov Glass
Product.01 turn Blondie's Heart Of Glass into a slightly messy electro affair with plenty of electro stabs, synthesised arpeggios and distorted basslines, vocals courtesy of Rochelle who sounds like she's singing through a CB radio.
The support list for this is massive including the likes of Adam Freeland, Skint Records and Tiga.
Side AA Track 1. Crushproof
Rochelle's vocals sound much clearer on this track. Crushproof sees her delving into darker territories with her vocal melodies while Adamo gives the track a rocky feel crossing borders between electro and goth rock.
Side AA Track 2. Symbionic
A menacing bassline and Rochelle's cyborg-like vocals make up Symbionic. Her vocals come piercing through the speakers to bust eardrums and it's one hell
of a track.

MEDIENKONVERTER.DE - 5.5 /6

JUICE MARCH 2004 - COVERT RECORDS, TOP 10 TUNES
This is flying off the shelves faster than Wacko-Jacko to a children's party in McDonalds.

RADIO 1/ONE MUSIC REVIEW
Forget Tiga & Zyntherius, forget Felix Da Housecat, even (deep breath!) forget City Rockers because this is dark, along the lines of Adult; sizzling undertones with killer bass and bleeps and a darker, more gothic view on electronica. In short, this is fantastic, well produced and well sung. Enjoy!

MICHAEL REINBOTH, COMPOST RECORDS

Great stuff, serious productions, and a stunning excellent version of 'Heart Of Glass'. Marvellous! Love it. Have your tracks in my playlist and play them all the time with great response.

JOHN KENNEDY, XFM/VARIOUS

Liked it a lot and gave it a few spins on the show and out there in club/barland!

TIGA, DJ/TURBO/GIGOLOS/K7/PIAS

REV MILO SPEEDWAGON, KISS 100/95 FEET EAST/CARGO/HERBAL
Yay! Played it on the show a few months ago - pretty damn good.

SI BEGG, DJ/NOVA-MUTE RECORDS
The kids love it. It dropped like the proverbial bomb at the top euro joints - definitely staying in the crate.

ADAM FREELAND, DJ+PRODUCER/MARINE PARADE
That's the phattest.

EDDY TEMPLE-MORRIS, XFM
Blondie cover admirable, but it's B1 'CrushProof' that's the true quality here, perfect for the new Breaks Update on the last hour of the Remix. I may give A1 a spin for bootleg community satisfaction purposes, but I can see through it to B1!

FIL OK, NAG/GHETTO
Fan-bloody-tastic! At last some decent, dirty electro with vocals. Nice one Product 01.

LARRY TEE, MOGUL ELECTRO
I like your sound and what you guys are up to. Keep up the great work.

TOMMIE SUNSHINE, DJ/GIGOLOS/DUSTTRAXX
I'm a huge proponent of the track! It's so well done man! You rock!
Charting at 1.

ANDY MAC + DAMIEN HARRIS, SKINT RECORDS
Product 01 bring their unique sound to this timeless classic, a great modern interpretation, and a strong hint at their fast developing production skills and own sassy style.

DISASTRONAUT, JOAN OF ASS/RETURN TO NEW YORK/SONIC MOOK/SLACK SABBATH /1234/RADIO: LONDON RESONANCE 104 FM/PARIS RADIO FG MONTHLY & FRANCE RADIO 3
Huge slice of fat electro pop that is credible enough to play to the most angular haircuts.

MARTYN DAVIES, DJ/ONE MUSIC/RADIO 1

You rock my world!

MARK MOORE, DJ
Love it!

SCAPE ONE, DJ+PRODUCER
I'll definitely be incorporating it on my travels, all tracks rock the house for me.
My favourite track on the 12 is 'Crushproof'.
This is a welcome marriage of styles, electro-pop & new wave vocals with a funky electro-bass production.
You have a unique style emerging that the media will probably call 'BASS-CLASH!'
;-))))

BASS KITTENS, PRETENSION RECORDS
One of the best electropop tracks we've heard - head and shoulders above the crowd.

EROL ALKAN, DJ TRASH
I got the twelve. - I think its pretty cool.

TASTY TIM, CRASH/THE COCK
Love the 'Heart Of Glass' but 'Crushproof' is rocking the floor @ The Cock.

DEN ODELL, OUR DISCO/PLASTIC PEOPLE
Fantastic reworking of the Blondie track.

Totally crystal.

MR Q, DJ/DIESEL MUSIC AWARD WINNER (ITALY)
The raw & tickling electro sounds of 'Heart Ov Glass' sends my ear drums to another dimension. Product.01 are in a world of their own making, Italy is waiting for u!

TOM MAGIC FEET, JOCKEY SLUT/SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT

I knew 'Heart Ov Glass' was a big record as soon as I heard it. It's more than just a straight cover version, it's one of the few tracks that people frequently request at my club, too, especially since the band played live, it's a stormer.

VOLUM/VOLSOC, DELIKAT RECORDS
Product.01 is to electro what ATR wishes they were to...whatever it was they
were trying to do- Heart Ov Glass is by far one of the best remakes I've heard in a very long time. Crunchy, edit heavy, tweaked out and mangled as f**k.
All of their material is top. I get beat-matched chills when I hear this.

HERBAL, DJ
Congratulations on your new record Adamo and Rochelle, I love it!
Charting at 8.

JEAN-FRANCOIS FECTEAU, DJ/LE VESTIBULE RADIO
Continue to compose such inspiring music.
